Iron Chef Imports

2011 Infiniti FX50 S Premium - SOLD!

Details

Owner is a pedantic kind of bloke who imports cars for a living.

This combination of triple black (Malbec black paint, charcoal leather, piano black trim) and low mileage is exceptionally rare and took me over six months to track down. Oh and it’s an FX50 S Premium too, which means 287kW worth of luscious, throaty V8 goodness combined with all the sports and premium goodies. Malbec black is actually black with a purple pearl overlay, which you should be able to pick up in the photos – looks sensational in direct sunlight.

Before I found the car, I bought the wheels – these are 22×10.5 Vossen CV3Rs, imported direct from the factory in the USA and drilled and machined to my own specs to achieve the result you see here. Runs virtually new Nitto NT03 tyres and H & R lowered springs. As you can see, the result is pretty amazing. No tyres rubbing against guards or other dramas – it rides just as nicely as a standard vehicle, and no panicking about ripping off bumpers every time you go through a spoon drain or park against a cement bollard.

I originally bought this with the intention of using it as a family car, but while it goes like a cut snake and is fantastic to cruise around in, it does not mix well with young children who don’t understand how to treat a car with respect. As a result, it has sat forlornly in the shed while we continue to use a rather haggard old Ford Territory for lugging people and gear around. I suspect our next car will be a Kluger or something equally soul-destroying, but at least we can finally take the Territory out the back and put it out of its misery.

But my loss is your gain. Worth buying just for the heated and cooled leather seats. If I could sleep on them without my wife getting jealous, I surely would. Check the generic version of all its features below, but suffice to say it has practically every feature known to man. Seriously, come and have a look.

Driving it will make you appear at least 150% cooler than you really are. I am living proof of this.

A note about pricing

Vehicles listed ‘FOB’ are in stock, in Japan. They may be in our own holding yards, or available through one of our trusted wholesalers.

The FOB (free on board) value is the total cost of the vehicle itself, and all Japan-side costs.

Landed and complied estimates are calculated from the FOB value, using the exchange rate at the time the vehicle is listed. This estimate is inclusive of our fee, shipping, taxes and compliance.

Tyres and registration are not included in this figure. We don’t include these items as customers have different preferences with tyres, and registration costs vary from state to state. Removal of non-standard parts for compliance may also incur extra labour costs.

Customs authorities may select your car for additional inspection and quarantine cleaning once it reaches Australia. If selected, additional fees will be incurred and those costs will be passed on to you as the owner. We have no influence or control over which cars are selected, but we can take measures to reduce the likelihood of this occurring. Talk to us about your shipping options.

While Iron Chef Imports makes every effort to ensure that estimates are accurate, there will be times when sudden movements in the exchange rate will increase or decrease this final figure, and the more expensive the car, the bigger these changes will be. If you want an up-to-date estimate on this vehicle, feel free to contact us.
